Anne M. Bensky is an associate at Garvey McNeil & Associates, S.C. Her primary areas of practice include environmental law, civil rights, and employment law.

Ms. Bensky graduated from the University of Southern California in 1996. She taught fourth grade in Newark, New Jersey for two years as a Teach For America member, then worked in New York City for several years coordinating media licensing and permissions for Corbis Motion and Advance Magazine Group. While attending the University of Wisconsin Law School, Ms. Bensky participated in the Legal Assistance for Institutionalized Persons program, assisting inmates at the federal correctional institution in Oxford, Wisconsin pursue post-conviction sentence remedies and resolve out-standing legal matters. As part of the program, she assisted in representing a client before the 7th Circuit with his direct appeal from a criminal conviction. During law school, Ms. Bensky also volunteered with the Student Hurricane Network, spending a week in Louisiana participating in the Hurricanes Katrina and Rita relief effort, and interned with the Wisconsin Supreme Court for the Honorable Louis B. Butler. Ms. Bensky clerked at Garvey McNeil & Associates prior to joining the firm in 2008.
